Sacramento woman guilty of mortgage fraud

justice-department-sealSACRAMENTO, CA – A Sacramento woman was found guilty of mortgage fraud after she applied for two loans to finance the purchase of a home in Carmichael in 2007.

After a nine-day trial, a federal jury found 33-year-old Anna Sorokina Kuzmenko guilty on Friday of two counts of wire fraud in a mortgage fraud scheme, this according to United States Attorney Benjamin B. Wagner.
